Yesterday took a little longer than expected, but that’s alright. I’d much rather the doctor be very throughout, than not. They did a biopsy and more chemo and then around 3pm, sent us on our way. Dad was feeling pretty good all considered. He has Bladder cancer, and there is only one avenue to get there. (so all you guys out there can wince now.) This is also the third round of surgery, so he’s pretty familiar with the basics.
When we got home last night, we were so exhausted, that we went to bed by 8pm. Woke up to 2 inches of snow.
Wolf and I checked on my parents today and they are doing alright. Dad is trying to do more than he should, as expected. Mom is coping. She is far more alert and active than Dad in general, even though they are the same age. So, we helped with some housework and moved firewood in for them. I’ll check again tomorrow.
Thank you to all that sent good wishes/thoughts/whammies, etc. We hope to hear about the biopsy next week.
Now to get back to writing!
