George rang the doorbell. After David’s comment, he decided to check out Mz. Mollska first and see if she was at home. The house was adjacent to the aquarium where her father was the director and main curator. He’d been there once years ago, but fish weren’t his thing. He rang the doorbell again. It opened and a young woman answered.
“Hello, I’m Detective Morris. I’d like to speak to Aleria Mollska please.”
“She’s not home right now. I’m the nanny. She’ll be home later tonight, but otherwise she’s home in the mornings.”
George looked at the young woman. She didn’t look old enough to be a ‘nanny.’ “Uh, sure. Let her know that I’ll be by in the morning. 9am.”
“I’ll let her know.” The woman smiled and then closed the door.
George walked back to his car, and decided to cruise the beach side bars.
Aleria swam out into deep water. When she’d gotten far enough out that the lights on shore were dim, she waited. It didn’t take long for one of her brothers to show up.
“Take this one farther out. They keep washing up on shore.”
Her brother nodded and wrapped a tentacle around the body and headed out to sea. Aleria watched them go and then headed into shore. She dressed and headed back to the bar where her car was parked. If she was lucky, she might have a late night date.
George was tired. He’d been in six bars in the last two hours. No one matching Aleria Mollska’s description had been in any of them. He walked into the coffee shop next to one of the discos and got a coffee and a cookie. He sat down facing the disco, so he could watch the crowd. As he ate his cookie, a young woman with wet hair came up from the beach. She was curvy and moved like a dancer. He tried to get a better look as she walked under the lights. No luck.
“Damn.” He finished off his coffee and tossed the cup and napkin in the trash. Then he headed for the disco. He flashed his badge at the door and got in without the door charge. Granted, it was the second time he’d been in there tonight. He walked over to the bar, ordered a coffee and sat watching the dance floor.
Aleria laughed as the young man tried to grab her ass. She moved out onto the dance floor and began to move with the music. He followed her. He was drunk. Too drunk for her tastes, but obviously drunk enough for the pheromones to nail him just by her walking by. They danced for a few minutes and then she moved across the floor towards more promising targets. There were enough women dancing without partners for her to blend in. Part of the dance floor passed the bar.
George was about to give up when something hit his nose. It made him think he was going to sneeze, except that his nose settled down, but his cock began to stiffen. “What the hell?” Then he remembered what David had said and began to look around the room for the woman with the wet hair. He spotted her on the far side of the dance floor. She was slowly moving around the room. George calculated the pace she was taking and realized that she must have passed him just before his nose twitched. When she came by again, he took a deep breath. Not more than ten seconds later, he had an erection that would have made it painful to walk. “I’ve got to get out of here!” He watched as she found a dance partner. Breathing a sigh of relief, he tried to figure out how to get out of the disco without drawing attention to himself. “Ice cubes… my ex… my ex’s mother… Sgt. Blatski naked…” He shuddered and a minute or two later, he could walk out of there without embarrassing himself.
David was deep in thought when the phone rang. “Hello, Joes Mortuary, You stab ’em, we slab ’em”. Oh, hey George. Yeah. I’ll be right there. Give me ten minutes. He hung up the phone and headed out the door.
George smiled as he hung up the phone. David’s warped sense of humor was always a treat. Now he watched the door to see if the woman with the wet hair exited the disco. He was still watching when David pulled in and then walked over.
“She still in there?”
“Yes. Unless she went out the kitchen exit.”
“Shall we go in?”
“Yeah. Only my third time tonight. The doorman is gonna be pissed.”
“No, it’s your turn.”
David laughed as they headed for the door.
Aleria sat on the man’s lap as she kissed his jawline. The booth was in a dark corner.
“Oh baby, I don’t know what it is you’ve done to me, but I wanna take you right here.”
She could feel his erection pressing up against her skirt. “Well, we could go to your house.”
He nodded. “Let me calm down a minute. I don’t want to walk out sporting a boner.”
Aleria nodded and slid off of his lap. She could wait a few minutes. She smiled at him. He smiled back.
“This will be my first run without a net.”
“I had a vasectomy a month ago. Got the all clear today.” He smiled.
Aleria smiled an bent forward to kiss him. She slipped her tongue into his mouth. He responded and then suddenly went limp. Aleria lowered him to the seat, and then got up slowly. She looked around and then moved slowly through the crowd and headed for the door. Anyone watching would see her leaving an ’empty’ booth. She ducked into the ladies restroom, which was near the back of the disco.
George and David walked in and stood next to the bar. They looked over the crowd. “I don’t see her.”
“Damn. Maybe she’s in one of those back booths, sucking the life out of some poor schmuck.”
“David, you are a morbid bastard, but let’s head that way.” George walked down the length of the bar and headed for the booths. David followed.
Aleria washed her hands and then sauntered out of the disco via the kitchen exit. When one of the cooks tried to stop her, she kissed him and left him dazed. The door swung closed behind her as the man tried to regain his composure. He had just gotten a drink of water and dashed some on his face when all hell broke loose in the main room.
